<\/p>\nCommercial property agents seeking buyers for serviced sites at 20-acre Brickworks Business Park, with 30 jobs created.\u00a0A new \u00a33m business park is set to open at a major industrial site in Dungannon, leading commercial property agent Lisney has announced today.<\/p>\n
Work has commenced on The Brickworks Business Park, comprising up to nine sites and existing buildings, with an asking price of \u00a32.9m, available to buy across 20 acres of the former Tyrone brick factory site on the Cookstown Road.<\/p>\n
The investment is being made by local company Maximus Crushing & Screening Ltd, with leading commercial property agents Lisney and Maneely & Co instructed to sell the sites. Thirty new temporary jobs have been created through the announcement.<\/p>\n

James Maneely of Clarman Architects is working with the owners on the design of the new business park, which is expected to be operational by the end of the year, with sites available to purchase now.<\/p>\n
Shane O\u2019Neill of Maximus Crushing & Screening Ltd said:<\/p>\n
\u201cThis announcement is a hugely positive news story of inward investment and job creation for Dungannon. We are building a brand new business park from scratch in an area in which there is a severe shortage of quality industrial land.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith potentially nine sites over a 20-acre area, this is set to become a landmark site which will appeal to the wide range of prominent manufacturing and engineering firms, and their suppliers.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Cookstown Road site where The Brickworks Business Park will be housed was purchased by Maximus Crushing & Screening Ltd at the start of the year. The firm will continue running its manufacturing operation on the other 50 acres of the site.<\/p>\n
Andrew Gawley, Associate Director at Belfast-based Lisney, who will manage the sale in tandem with Maneely & Co, commented:<\/p>\n
\u201cWe already have one large site under offer, which proves the major demand which exists throughout this area for quality industrial development land. The sites available range from 0.7 to 7.5 acres, and will appeal to large companies and smaller expanding companies alike.<\/p>\n
\u201cDungannon and the surrounding area has a strong pedigree of long-standing, successful firms \u2013 such as Dunbia and Moy Park \u2013 and the Brickworks Business Park will add further to the area\u2019s reputation.\u201d<\/p>\n
