{"id":8598,"date":"2018-10-31T18:13:15","date_gmt":"2018-10-31T18:13:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lisney.com\/belfast\/?p=8598"},"modified":"2020-11-05T18:14:22","modified_gmt":"2020-11-05T18:14:22","slug":"five-lisney-entries-shortlisted-for-belfast-telegraph-property-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lisney.com\/belfast\/five-lisney-entries-shortlisted-for-belfast-telegraph-property-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Five Lisney Entries Shortlisted For Belfast Telegraph Property Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"columns small-12 medium-9\">\n<p>Five entries submitted by Belfast-based Lisney have been shortlisted across three categories for the 2018 Belfast Telegraph Property Awards.<\/p>\n<p>The company has been shortlisted in the prestigious Commercial Estate Agency of the Year category and three of its transactions have been shortlisted for Property Deal of the Year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sale of Obel 68<\/li>\n<li>Acquisition of 40-46 Donegall Place<\/li>\n<li>Sale of Metro Building<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jonathan Haughey has also been shortlisted for the Young Agent of the Year category, which was won by Lisney\u2019s Lynn Taylor in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Declan Flynn, Managing Director at Lisney in Belfast, said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Belfast Telegraph Property Awards celebrate the best of the best of the property industry, both commercial and residential.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast year we were delighted for Lynn Taylor to be named Young Agent of the Year, and since then we have acted on a number of hugely significant deals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis has included the sale of Obel 68, which sold in excess of its \u00a315m asking price to Belfast Harbour having only been on the market for just three months; the acquisition of 40-46 Donegall Place on behalf of Corum Asset Management marking the French company\u2019s entrance to the Northern Ireland market; and the sale of Metro Building which sold well in excess of its \u00a321m price tag.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe sale of Metro Building to a Private Property Trust remains the largest deal of the year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am also extremely happy to see Jonathan recognised in the Young Agent of the Year category.
