Lisney has been instructed to let part of substantial high-specification Chill Warehouse facilities in Cookstown owned by local haulage company Allingham Transport.<\/p>\n
The haulage company is a family-run business, now in its second generation, that was set up in Cookstown by residents John and Maureen Allingham in 1969. They were joined in the early 1990s by sons Thomas and Ian.<\/p>\n
The company initially set out to provide a\u00a0cross-channel groupage service\u00a0between Ireland and Great Britain, but over the past 48 years the company has grown and expanded its portfolio of services.<\/p>\n
While Allingham Transport will maintain a presence in Cookstown, this latest expansion will see the company take on several new sites across the province to increase its local offering and free up a portion of the high-specification facility at the Cookstown headquarter site.<\/p>\n
