Ann is a consultant for Lisney specialising in Investments. She is also a former Chairman of the company and head of the Investment Department, a role she held for over 20 years. She specialises in advising institutions, property companies and private investors in acquiring and disposing of commercial investment property. She also has significant experience in pre-funding development agreements and in recovery consultancy.
She joined Lisney in 1985 and worked in the Professional Services Department for over 5 years before joining the Investment team. In addition to being involved in the sale and acquisition of investment property, Ann also acts as external valuer for a number of regulated purpose pension funds and recently has been involved in debt restructuring and strategic management of property portfolios.
Ann has also been involved in advising on business plans to be submitted to NAMA as well as independently reviewing various other business plans on behalf of NAMA. In the past she acted on behalf of Irish Life Investment Managers and IPUT in relation to the prefunding agreement for Airside Retail Park and also provided advice and acquisition services to IPUT on the sale and leaseback completed by Uniphar in City West. Other experience includes various instructions for national and international clients such as State Street Global Advisors, F&C, Irish Life, Salix, NAMA and Ballymun Regeneration.
She holds a BSc in Surveying and a Diploma in Environmental Economics from Trinity College Dublin. She is a fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Ann was previously a member of the Valuation Tribunal panel and was the first and only woman to be appointed President of the Society of Chartered Surveyors in its history of over 100 years in 1997.
