Lisney has been instructed to sell 3.4 acres of land at the former Deer Park Hotel site on Dublin Road, Muckamore. The site is located one mile from Antrim town and benefits from excellent links with the International Airport and M1 and M2 motorways, adding to its attraction for local property developers.

A mixture of concrete, hardcore and foliage, the site is accessed via a hardcore lane and cannot be viewed from the Dublin Road.

Olivia Martin, the surveyor at Lisney managing the sale of the property, commented:

“We anticipate a high level of interest in the land from local housebuilders keen to avail of the opportunity to redevelop the former hotel site.

“The location, combined with flat topography and private access, make this an instruction that we don’t think will be on the market for long.

“The location and scale of this site really add to its potential as a unique development opportunity and it is one that we believe will garner substantial interest.”

In 2008, full planning permission was granted for 39 dwellings which has since expired.
