Local And International Businesses Expand In Titanic Quarter’s Commercial Park
26th September 2017
Noblett’s of North Street, a local, family run painting and decorating business which was established over 50 years ago, has occupied 7,500 sq ft of new premises in the park as part of an expansion of the city centre operations.
Actavo, an international engineering solutions company which has offices across the UK, Ireland, US, the Caribbean and Kazakhstan, has occupied an additional 4,900 sq ft of new premises in the park as it grows its Northern Ireland hub. This is in addition to 10,000 sq ft of office and warehouse space which the company secured less than a year ago.
James Eyre, commercial director at Titanic Quarter, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Noblett’s and to support the expansion of Actavo since locating to Channel Commercial Park.
“Both tenants selected Titanic Quarter’s Channel Commercial Park due to the quality of the premises and its strategic location, a consideration which was particularly important to Noblett’s as they grow their global online sales platform. We are pleased that we have been able to facilitate both businesses as they expand.”
Commercial property agents Lisney and CBRE have been jointly appointed by Titanic Quarter to market Channel Commercial Park.
Andrew Gawley, associate director at Lisney Belfast, acted on both transactions. He commented:
“We were keen to assist Noblett’s of North Street and Actavo in securing new premises at Channel Commercial Park, which is one of Belfast’s most versatile and popular commercial parks. The park’s tenants are hugely diverse which illustrates the wide appeal, scale and convenience of the offering. We are currently marketing further space in the park and are looking forward to assisting businesses with their relocation and expansion plans.”
Timothy Noblett, owner of Noblett’s of North Street, said:
“We are excited to have joined the Titanic Quarter community and it’s great to see so many businesses using this new up and coming area. Over the past two years we have been growing our online presence with social media and our e-commerce website. We are proud to say that with this new expansion into Titanic Quarter we are now able to stock a greater range of products and deliver them all over the world to a greater customer base.”
Seamus O’Mahoney, regional operations manager at Actavo | Networks & In-Home Division, said:
“Actavo is pleased to be expanding its presence in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter. This is a vibrant, strategically located hub and an ideal base for our growing team.”
