Strategically Located Zoned lands in Trim, Co. Meath

Loman Dempsey Property Consultants and Lisney CRE have been instructed to place a strategically located zoned land bank of approx. 23.77ha (58.73 acres) on the market. The lands are situated on the western side of the Dublin Road (R154) just south of the town. There is excellent road frontage of approx. 800m.

The majority of the lands 20.57 Ha (50.73 acres) which are nicely elevated in an east-to-west direction from the main road are laid out in one large almost rectangular block providing an excellent canvass for development. The balance of the lands 3.2 Ha (8 acres) at the western end are bounded by the Knightsbrook River and Mill Race and contains Knock Mills a beautiful cut stone building beside the Mill Race.

The lands have massive development potential with a mix of zoning such as Community (approx. 35 acres), Tourism (15 acres), and Rural (8 acres). A comprehensive feasibility study has been prepared which demonstrates the huge potential of this vast land bank. Suggested uses include (but are not limited to), hotel, nursing home, medical centre, and other recreation uses such as Holiday Motor Home Park, Theme Park, etc.

The lands offer a unique opportunity for investment and development in one of Ireland’s most historic and scenic towns. Major attractions in the town include Ireland’s largest Norman stronghold Trim Castle which has featured in numerous movies including the Mel Gibson blockbuster Braveheart. Trim also hosts significant State offices such as the headquarters of the Office of Public Works and the Grange Research Centre nearby. The joint agents expect strong interest from a wide variety of potential purchasers and all enquiries should be directed to Lisney CRE and Loman Dempsey Property Consultants.
