Valuations Graduate (20210921ValGrad)

Day to day – what the role looks like:

  • Undertake Red Book valuations and portfolio valuations for secured lending / financial reporting purposes.
  • Assisting with the preparation of valuation reports, rent reviews and other professional services.
  • Liaising with potential investors and clients and assisting with the winning of new business.
  • Attending and participating in all meetings.
  • Assisting generally with valuations, rent reviews and other professional services offered by the company.
  • Assisting with inspections on surveys including measurement and calculation of floor areas. and preparation of draft reports. Assist with the production of the annual rental indices.
  • Responsible within the department for the upkeep and recording of comparable investment transactions and current availability.
  • Inputting new instructions, comparable evidence from other agents and newspapers.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest professional standard in the context of the applicable external and internal requirements.
  • Assisting in the valuation of all types of commercial property & land.
  • Attending departmental meetings.
  • Demonstrating excellent knowledge of all services generally offered by the company.
  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly and annually written reports for clients.
  • This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.

What you will need to apply: 

  • Post-Leaving Honours Certificate qualification in a property related field recognised by the PSRA (e.g. Bolton Street DIT, LIT etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Office especially Excel and Word with ability to learn new processes effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Fluency in both written and oral English.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Self-motivation and possess a drive to succeed in this interesting role.
  • Fast typing speed, ability to create reports, legal documents, letters of correspondence with ease and great attention to detail.
  • Full clean drivers licence.
