The Lisney Retail Department has represented Camile in numerous restaurant acquisitions of properties on and off market across the country, and represented them in this acquisition of a restaurant premises in Glasthule.

Most recently, Lisney Retail were involved in the acquisition of the former Cookbook Café in Glasthule village. Glasthule is an excellent south Dublin suburb and therefore it is rare suitable properties come available. The property was held under a long lease and the rent had recently been reviewed to market rent. Lisney was approached by the tenant to place the property on the market. Our Retail team recognised it would suit an existing client, Camile.

Lisney worked closely with all parties and their solicitors to help progress the letting through the negotiation and legal process.  They assisted Camile in the preparation of a landlord pack and organised a meeting with the new landlord to assist in the consent to the assignment being obtained and to introduce parties.  Minor amendments to the lease were required to suit Camile’s use which were also obtained.  The restaurant is now open and trading successfully.
