Central Bank Portfolio, Dame Street, Dublin 2
Lisney was appointed as the sole sales agent for this important city centre portfolio of properties. The offering comprised five buildings located on Dame Street and College Green, including the iconic Tower building which has been home to The Central Bank of Ireland since its completion in 1978.
The Tower was designed by renowned architect Sam Stephenson and is one of Dublin’s most recognisable buildings, offering stunning views over the city centre. The other buildings included in this sale were the Commercial Buildings and the annex which both front onto the plaza, number 9 College Green and 6-8 College Green. The total portfolio extended to approximately 135,000 sq ft, predominantly office accommodation with ancillary facilities and amenities, and 107 car spaces.
The properties were purchased by Hines for a price in the region of €67 million and the sale was completed in January 2017.
