Lisney offered strategic advice on the pre-letting of the new 4.90 ha (12.1 acre) Container storage yard at Dublin Inland Port and were tasked with obtaining a pre-let agreement with a suitable tenant on a new 20-year FRI lease.
Dublin Port Company is a State-owned commercial company responsible for operating and developing Dublin Port. Dublin Port is the largest freight and passenger port in Ireland with all cargo handling activities being carried out by private sector companies operating in intensely competitive markets within the Port.
Lisney was tasked with obtaining a pre-let agreement with a suitable tenant on a new 20-year FRI lease.
The site comprises 4.89 hectares (12.1 acres) yard capable of storing approximately 6,000 twenty-foot equivalent unit containers.
The completed yard can facilitate up to 6 high empty containers. In addition, the infrastructure will cater for Reefer Gantries, allowing for a capacity of approximately 90 refrigerated containers. The subject site is strategically located on St. Margaret’s Road, within 9 minutes drive time from the Port Tunnel entrance and less than 15 minutes from Dublin Port.
Lisney invited interested parties to submit rental proposals and secured a grade A tenant on a long-term lease.
