Aoife Brennan is Chief Executive Officer of Lisney, leading the firm as it enters its next phase of strategic growth and innovation.
Aoife joined Lisney in 2006 and has built extensive experience across the business, having worked in the research, investment, land and valuation divisions. Prior to her appointment as CEO, she led Lisney’s Research Department, where she was responsible for a wide range of market intelligence and analysis, including quarterly market updates across all sectors, market statistics, commercial rent indices and residential value indices. She also oversaw the production of bespoke research on topics such as economic impact assessments, demand and supply analysis, and occupier surveys.
Earlier in her career, Aoife worked in both the Investment and Professional Services departments of Lisney and Jones Lang LaSalle, where she was involved in the valuation, acquisition and disposal of properties in Ireland and Europe, as well as the valuation of land and buildings throughout Ireland. She also carried out monthly regulated-purpose pension fund valuations.
Aoife’s experience includes completing demand and supply assessments for development feasibility, producing detailed office, retail, industrial, student accommodation, healthcare and residential market reports for Dublin and Cork, leading Lisney’s 2020 Outlook report, and delivering consultancy work for a broad range of public and private sector clients.
In addition to her industry experience, Aoife lectured in valuation between 2004 and 2012 on the SCSI / TUD part-time honours degree programme in Property Studies and the higher certificate course.
Aoife holds an MSc in Planning and Development and a BSc in Property Economics, both from Technological University Dublin. She has also completed a Diploma in Strategy & Innovation with the Irish Management Institute and a Diploma in Official Statistics for Policy Evaluation with University College Dublin. She is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
