Brian Gilson
Senior Director, Valuation and Advisory
Brian is a director of Lisney based in our professional services department. He also heads up our infrastructural team and specialises in providing valuation advice to local authorities on various road and infrastructural projects throughout Ireland.
He joined Lisney in 1989, became a director in 2002 and has been involved with a wide variety of our highest profile projects, including asset, fund and secured lending valuations. Brian has also managed a number of large infrastructural projects from initiation through to delivery and final sign-off.
Recently he has been advising on a variety of large undertakings for our clients, including the National Roads Authority, the Railway Procurement Agency, Bank of Ireland, Electricity Supply Board, Eircom, Permanent TSB and Irish Life. Some of his most recent successes include acquiring land for the proposed N11, N30 and N80 road schemes, working on the planned Metro North project in Dublin city, acting as project manager for the valuation of the Eircom and Bank of Ireland property portfolio as well as project manager on the various Luas Light Rail projects, including A1, B, F, BXD and C1.
Brian holds a BSc in Surveying from the Dublin Institute of Technology and is a member of the Institute of Arbitrators, the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
