Richard Fitzsimons

As Head of Data and IT at Lisney, Richard spearheads the company’s technological and data management strategies. He leads strategic IT initiatives, ensures data security and integrity, and optimises Linsey’s technological resources to support business objectives.

Richard’s expertise in data analytics and digital transformation was honed during his tenure at Grant Thornton, where he managed Digital Transformation projects for some of Ireland’s leading companies and financial institutions. He helped organisations leverage data for better decision-making and improved performance including developing bespoke platforms for the management, storing and analysis of data. He implemented custom workflows to enhance organisational performance. Richard assisted organisations in leveraging data for improved decision-making.

Prior to this, Richard ran his own company providing comprehensive IT solutions including data management, networking, internet services, infrastructure setup, and telecommunications.

Richard has lectured and tutored in DIT and UCD on a variety of computer training courses.

Richard holds a Masters of Science in Data Analytics from UCD, a Higher Diploma in Data Analytics from the Dublin Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from UCD. He has also completed many data training and project management courses.
