In 2017, Lisney discussed a potential new restaurant concept, Sano Pizza, with the MacHugh Brothers. After searching for suitable locations in Dublin, they acquired a space on Exchange Street for their first restaurant and acquired the former Milano in Ranelagh off-market for their second restaurant, with plans for a third. The MacHugh Brothers had previously traded from a restaurant on D’Olier Street from 1992 to 2019.
