The opportunity:

The Negotiator Support placement is designed to provide hands-on experience in a busy residential sales environment. The role supports licensed negotiators and the wider team, offering exposure to property sales processes, client service, and administrative functions.

  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of property brochures and marketing materials, ensuring all details are provided and approved by a licensed negotiator.
  • Accompany negotiators to property viewings and assist with client meet-and-greet at the office.
  • Provide directions to properties and respond to general client queries (under supervision).
  • Follow up with applicants and maintain records in the CRM system (e.g., Reapit), ensuring prompt responses within 24 hours.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, manage email enquiries, and support front-of-office duties.
  • Maintain brochure and window displays, ensuring all marketing materials are up to date.
  • Deliver an excellent standard of customer service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled on year 3, Auctioneering, Valuation & Estate Agency in TUD
  • Must require a placement during the dates specified by TUD on January inclusive
  • Interest in property, sales, or customer service.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional manner.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
  • Organised, reliable, and eager to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital tools.

  • Gain insight into the residential sales process from initial enquiry to offer stage.
  • Develop communication and organizational skills in a professional property environment.
  • Understand compliance requirements and the importance of working under the supervision of licensed staff.
