Lisney Sotheby’s International Realty, the residential division of Lisney, Ireland’s largest independently owned multi-disciplinary property advisory company, has announced the appointment of Pat Falvey as a Director and Head of Residential in Cork City. With over 18 years’ experience, Pat has a wealth of knowledge which spans all elements of the industry. He also has a significant reputation for the on and off market sale of development land in the Cork region.

Pat joins from Coldwell Banker – Carlton Estates, where he held the position of Managing Director since 2009, specialising in the sale and advisory of both new and second-hand homes. Prior to this, Pat worked with companies such as Sherry FitzGerald and Countrywide Homes. He holds a BA in Business Studies from Cork Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Property and Real Estate Management from Cork College of Commerce.

Lisney Sotheby’s International Realty has also appointed Trevor O’Sullivan as Divisional Director in Cork. Also joining from Coldwell Banker – Carlton Estates, Trevor has over 15 years experience in the Cork property market and is an expert in the area of second-hand sales and lettings in Cork city and county.

Lisney Sotheby’s International Realty was recently announced as the new name for Lisney’s residential division in Ireland following an alliance with the iconic Sotheby’s International Realty brand that has more than 1,000 offices in 78 countries and territories around the world.

The move provided Lisney’s residential clients with an enviable and unrivalled platform from which to market homes to as wide an audience as possible both at home and abroad. The firm will be the only Sotheby’s International Realty affiliated company in Ireland.

Lisney remains wholly Irish-owned and will continue as a full-service multi-disciplinary business offering clients a full-service property offering across both the residential and commercial markets.

Operating for almost 90 years, the company employs 125 people in a range of agency and advisory services departments across offices in Dublin, Cork, and Belfast. While the residential division will now be called Lisney Sotheby’s International Realty, the commercial division of the business will continue to operate under the Lisney brand.
