Shane O’Beirne
Director, Valuation and Advisory
Shane is a Director in Lisney’s Valuation and Advisory Department and specialises in valuations for company accounts, secured lending, probate and other legal purposes. He is involved in all forms of landlord and tenant including rent reviews and lease renewals. He has a keen interest and experience in the acquisition of fee simple/ ground rent interests and has negotiated or presented Expert Witness evidence to the County Registrar to assist in determination on many occasions.
Shane joined Lisney in 2003 and has extensive experience in all areas of commercial property advice including Valuation, Landlord & Tenant, CPO, and Expert Witness work. Recent experience includes instructions on behalf of the IDA, Bank of Ireland, AIB, Ulster Bank, Deutsche Bank, Davy, and C&C.
Shane holds a BSc in Property Economics and a Diploma in Auctioneering Valuation and Estate Agency from Technological University Dublin (previously DIT). He is a Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Shane sits on the SCSI Valuation Professional Group in Dublin and the RICS Global Valuation Standards Board in London. He also acts as an Assessor for the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) in the SCSI for prospective members seeking their Chartered Professional Qualification.
